Follow us on TwitterWelcome from Mr Robert Hollis, Headteacher
Pembridge is a school where we encourage everyone to be inspired through faith in God and to live by Christian values so that our creative teaching and learning is of the highest quality, our whole community flourishes and we reflect all that is worthy of praise.
Pembridge Church of England Primary School is a happy and successful place of learning which strives to ensure that all pupils reach their academic and personal goals whether in reading and writing, maths, artistically, as a scientist, on stage, in sports, with a musical instrument or, indeed, spiritually. We pride ourselves on the relationships between children, staff, parents and governors who all work together to make Pembridge School the special place that it is. Children enjoy coming to school to explore a wealth of opportunities. Our aim is that they acquire the necessary skills and enthusiasm to have a bright future and a love of learning for life. All are welcome!
We were thrilled to receive an ‘outstanding’ grade in all five areas of the Ofsted inspection framework in October 2014 – one of few schools in the county to have achieved that accolade. This recognises the hard work of all who have brought about this fantastic result – one which we shall strive to maintain. The 'excellent' Church Schools’ Inspection (SIAMS) in January 2023 highlighted this further: “Inspirational leaders and staff work unceasingly to ensure the Christian vision is deeply embedded throughout the school. This creates a culture of aspiration and hope which transforms lives, enabling all to flourish. Relationships are profoundly supportive. A palpable sense of a community at peace empowers all to face, and conquer, challenges." We think we have something rather special here.
